Bite Balancing / Equilibration
At the Occlusal Analysis appointment where we take all the measurements, we gather all the information necessary to build a model of your mouth. From this model, we can determine how and what needs to change in order to create a harmonized, comfortable bite.
Bite balancing is how we change an existing bite to a more customized well functioning bite.The balancing or equilibration is done in 2 or more appointments where Dr. Kling adds and subtracts miniscule points of conflict to achieve a harmonious, balanced and stable bite. After this procedure most patients will feel less pressure and grind their teeth less.
